Clinical Data Analyst Jobs

Responsible for various special projects related the data management aspects of clinical studies. Interface with data management and systems development groups.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Collecting design requirements and specifications for new clinical data management applications.
- Develop and run ad-hoc queries in both Microsoft Access and our in house query tool, CorVu.
- Writing specifications for and test custom reports created by systems development group.
- Testing new clinical study databases prior to release into production.
- Generating and processing clinical study reimbursements.
- Providing input into how processes are designed and identifying productivity improvements.
- Performing analysis of clinical data per defined requirements.
- Involvement in the review of Department Work Instructions and responsible for maintaining department procedures.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong Microsoft Access knowledge required.
- General knowledge of database terminology and technology, knowledge of SQL and demonstrated ability to generate complex queries.
- Bachelors degree in an applicable technical field, or equivalent. Typically a minimum of 2+ years experience in a clinical research environment with a thorough understanding of data management processes.
- Demonstrated oral and written interpersonal, communication, analytical, presentation and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines/work independently.
- Experience with Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) regulations as they apply to clinical data management and the clinical trial process desired.
- Experience in writing technical documentation and manuals.
