Minimum Qualifications :
|
|
- Five years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience with a degree in Biological Science; Computer Science or other health related major.
- Five years in Clinical Data management or two years in clinical data management with three years in a related computer science or health care environment AND two years of database development.

Job Responsibilities:
|
|
- This position is responsible for the management and final analysis of the data collection process as it relates to a database administrator role for assigned project/study.
- Immediate need for database administrator CDM expert to work with project team, client, and CDM I & II's.
- This position will work on extremely complex problems and exercises using independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
- Responsible for developing databases, edit check programming, data extract views and standard or ad hoc data reports.
- Responsible for working on multiple projects, including data management tasks, the monitoring of the CDM budget and study timelines as it related to a DBA role within CDM.
- Establishes data flow processes and protocol-specific database administrator guidelines with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Oracle tables preferred.
- Principal data management liaison for database administration within CDM, participates in project meetings with client and project team.
- Manages the development of the database administrator guidelines, database development and edit check specifications for assigned projects based upon the needs of project management team, data management guidelines and client request. Serves as technical expert to project team, client and CDM I & IIs.
- Designs and develops clinical databases and runs necessary tests to ensure that the database functions as expected and outstanding issues are resolved prior to data entry on study.
- Develops and implements computerized tracking system for Case Report Forms and queries generated for project/studies.
- Develops and implements plans for the development of databases, edit specifications, and data reports within established timelines and budget specifications, and makes necessary adjustments based upon project manager's and client's needs.
- Loads coding dictionaries and laboratory data into computerized systems. Experience with Oracle Clinical preferred.
